Soon it will be Sinterklaas and Piet time again… meaning… welcome loads of sweets and gingerbread! Get rid of all your gingerbread in an original way with this fun recipe. Can't wait to try it out? Make sure you make some this month to try them out!

Festiviti, you don't want the gingerbread cookies to come out of your ears after a few weeks,
we provided a suitable solution.

What solution, you say? Well, you can describe it as the cheerful truffle. Hey? A cheerful truffle???? Yep! Because forget the regular truffle this time, but go for truffles made from gingerbread dressed in an outfit that will instantly put a smile on your face.

How do you proceed?

Step 1

You start by mixing your huge amount of gingerbread cookies.
Once everything is mixed, add a spoonful of mascarpone to this cookie grit - to which you add some sugar in advance. Repeat this step until the mixture is of such a nature that you can roll it into balls.

Step 2

Meatballs ready? Then you let them set in the freezer for a while. While they what
cool, in the meantime melt two types of chocolate and prepare a sheet of baking paper.

Step 3

Once your chocolate has melted, take the balls out of the freezer and dip them in the melted chocolate and then finish with cheerful toppings.

Step 4

Then let everything harden on baking paper and once everything has hardened, place each
truffle separately in a mini cupcake mold which you arrange in a beautiful
presentation box.

Et voilà! Want to get rid of speculaas in an original way? Yes, you can! And
