It's that time of year again, the time of year to have a good time! From ghost tours, costume parties to trick-or-treating: Halloween is the opportunity to give your all once again. How do you organize a great Halloween party at home? With the creepiest snacks of course!
What do you need:
- Dry cake
- Wooden meat skewers
- Edible eyes
- White icing or glaze (made from water, lemon juice and powdered sugar)
- Marzipan or black sugar paste
- Black food coloring
- Green food coloring
- White chocolate
- Piping bag
Bake the muffins using a basic recipe or buy the muffins ready-made in the store. Place the glaze (or icing) in a piping bag and pipe a spider web of fine strings onto the muffins. Use the marzipan (add black food coloring) or the sugar paste to knead a spider for the spider web.
Melt white chocolate in a saucepan. Add the green food coloring and stir until the chocolate is colored green. Let this cool down for a while. Place the boudoirs on a meat skewer. Drizzle the green chocolate over the cookie with a spoon. Press the eyes into the chocolate. Let this set in the refrigerator for a while.
Bake a dry cake using a basic recipe or buy the cake ready-made in the store. Cut the cake into slices. Cut a ghost shape from a slice of cake. Place the ghosts on a meat skewer. Melt the white chocolate in a saucepan and let cool briefly. Drizzle the chocolate over the ghost with a spoon. Press the eyes into the chocolate. Roll a sausage of marzipan in your hand and use it to make a mouth. Let the ghost set in the refrigerator.
